JPC engineering was involved in the design and development of the right-hand-drive product range of Western Star trucks to be utilised in Australia.
The trucks had the major modification from left-hand-drive to right-hand-drive but also many other modifications had to be made in order to the truck to comply with ADR regulations. The trucks were developed and manufactures at Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.
The twin steer truck pictured was fitted with a plough on the front in order for it to clear the snow from the roads and deliver necessary equipment to nearby townships. Cars would then follow the truck with its load along the clear path it had created.
